Controls the direction of the protrusion:

Both — Extends the protrusion both in
the direction forward and backward of the cutting curve.

Forward — Creates the protrusion in the
direction forward of the cutting curve.

Back — Extends the protrusion in the
direction backward of the cutting curve.

Controls the protrusion method:

Through — Extends the protrusion to the
face of the form or solid.

Depth — Enables the Protrusion Depth field.

|
Sets the depth of the protrusion.

|
If on, retains the protrusion profile when the
Boolean solid is created.

| Feature (forms only)
|
If on and you are using the Create Protrusion tool
to adjust the shape of a form, the adjustment is remembered and can be
subsequently modified using the Features tab of the Building Element Info
dialog.

| Clip to form
|
Enabled when
Feature (forms only) is set. If on, creates
the clip plane to the form, instead of a plane protrusion.
|
Used to add a protrusion
to a solid.
